SOLARANFO is a free-flowing powdered explosive produced by homogeneously mixing 94.5% prilled porous ammonium nitrate (Pril-Poroz Ammonium Nitrate) and 5.5% diesel fuel while maintaining the oxygen balance. It is used in underground operations.

SOLAR ANFO for optimum use and maximum efficiency should be used with capsule-initiated (or: using an initiator charge) SUPERPOWER 90 sensitive product. Recommended for use in wells 2.0 inches (51 mm) in diameter and larger.
For best results, store in a well-ventilated, approved explosives warehouse at moderate temperatures and in dry conditions. When stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated explosives warehouse, SOLARANFO has a shelf life of 6 months from date of manufacture. However, exposure to extreme high or low temperatures may cause premature decomposition of the product.
